Kenya Safari,Dreams of Kenya Safari is a journey through Kenya that begins from Nairobi and starts with Kilimanjaro, the roof of Africa. Day 1: Airport - Nairobi(Kenya Safari)

Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport, Horizon Africa Safari representatives will warmly meet you and welcome you to Kenya. We then transfer to our hotel, located in a serene environment away a few

kilometres from the airport; offering peace of heart and mind, a nice place to relax and unwind before you begin your safari. Nairobi is Kenya’s principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa. Nairobi means ‘place of cool waters’ in the Masai language. Our representative will help you through check-­‐‑in and make sure you settled in well.

Day 2: Nairobi - Amboseli(Kenya Safari)

After an early sumptuous breakfast depart to Amboseli National Park, which provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-­‐‑tinged, snow-­‐‑capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-­‐‑standing volcanic mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of 'ʹgiant'ʹ elephant accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous beasts -­‐‑ lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest. Amboseli National Park is also an ornithological paradise with over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-­‐‑searing views in Africa. Arrive at your preferred choice of accommodation for check in and some delicious lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in search of the 'ʹbig five'ʹ among other animals.

Day 3: Amboseli(Kenya Safari)

Morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the game park. On the park’s endless plains and grasslands roams vast herds of 'ʹgiant'ʹ elephant accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous beasts -­‐‑ lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest. Amboseli National Park is also an ornithological paradise with over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-­‐‑searing views in Africa.

Day 4: Amboseli - Aberdare National park(Kenya Safari)

Today after breakfast check-­‐‑out and drive to Aberares National Park through Nairobi where you will enjoy your lunch. After lunch proceed through the Agricultural and hilly regions of central Kenya to arrive at your base hotel in time for check-­‐‑in at Aberdares Country Club. From here you leave your driver guider and will be transferred by the lodge vehicles to your tree lodge located in the depths of Aberdares forest and spend your afternoon leisurely enjoying the scenery of the mountainous environment and watching the animals at the comfort of your balcony.

Day 5: Aberdare - Ol Pejeta(Kenya Safari)

After breakfast you will be transferred to your base hotel where you will re-­‐‑join with your safari driver and drive to Ol Pejeta Game Sanctuary to arrive in time for check-­‐‑in and lunch. After lunch we embark on an afternoon game drive -­‐‑ Ol Pejeta game sanctuary is situated on the Equator and with a stunning backdrop of the majestic Mount Kenya, the 90,000 acre wildlife Conservancy boasts of an astounding variety of animals. Home to the Big Five (the endangered black and white rhinos, elephants, lion, leopard & Cape buffalo) and a host of other animals such as the grevy zebra, cheetah, gazelles, black-­‐‑back jackals, ostrich, baboons, waterbuck, Oryx, eland and several hundred bird species, Ol Pejeta’s combination of these amazing wildlife and stunning views guarantees an unforgettable safari experience. It also serves as a sanctuary for the non-­‐‑indigenous chimpanzees and is the only place in Kenya to view these remarkably intelligent and endangered animals.

Day 6: Ol Pejeta(Kenya Safari)

Day 7: Ol Pejeta - Lake Nakuru(Kenya Safari)

Today after breakfast check-­‐‑out and drive to the Great Rift Valley Region to arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Eanjoy an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National park famous as home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingoes -­‐‑ the park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhino and the elusive leopard. The landscape includes areas of marsh and grasslands alternating with rocky cliffs and outcrops, stretches of acacia woodland and rocky hillsides covered with a Euphorbia forest (the largest in Africa) on the eastern perimeter. The lake catchment is bounded by Menengai crater to the north, the Bahati hills to the north east, the lion hill ranges to the east, eburu crater to the south and the Mau escarpment to the west. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.

Day 8: Lake Nakuru - Mara

A hearty early morning breakfast then drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. We arrive at our camp to a very warm welcome for lunch, some leisure. This afternoon is the moment we have been longing for – we depart on an exciting game viewing drive. The Rolling plains and grasslands, stretching far into the horizons as far as the eye can see is home to the black-­‐‑manned lion, the savannah elephant, the Cape buffalo, wildebeests, the elusive leopard, cheetah, the spotted & stripped hyena, the rhino, topi, burchelle’s zebra, the Maasai giraffe among many others. The Mara game reserve is one that can never disappoint. One is spoilt by the variety of bird and wildlife species in this game reserve….. For a long time, Mara Game Reserve has stubbed her authority as the ‘granary’ of wildlife in Kenya.

Day 9: Masai Mara(Kenya Safari)

Sumptuous breakfasts then we depart for a full day adventure with morning and afternoon game drives. The Masai still live as they did for centuries -­‐‑interact with these nomadic people and experience their way of life as you learn about their customs and traditions. We are right in time for the greatest spectacle on earth; the eighth wonder of the world – the wildebeest migration. From July to October, the fields are awash with thousands of wildebeests that yearly migrate from the Serengeti National park in Tanzania to Masai Mara in search of pasture. They cross the Nile crocodile invested Mara River.
Tens of them drawn in the ranging waters, others are captured and killed by the giant crocodiles. The wildebeests are closely followed by Burchell’s zebras and impalas. Predators too in their hundreds also follow and lay in wait for those animals that become weak or incapacitated during the long journey for a kill.

Day 10: Masai Mara(Kenya Safari)

Sumptuous breakfasts then we depart for a full day adventure with morning and afternoon game drives. The Masai still live as they did for centuries -­‐‑interact with these nomadic people and experience their way of life as you learn about their customs and traditions. We are right in time for the greatest spectacle on earth; the eighth wonder of the world – the wildebeest migration. From July to October, the fields are awash with thousands of wildebeests that yearly migrate from the Serengeti National park in Tanzania to Masai Mara in search of pasture. They cross the Nile crocodile invested Mara River.
Be on the look-­‐‑out for the big five that Maasai Mara is famous for. These include the lion, savannah (African) elephant, the Cape buffalo, the leopard and the black rhino. In the early 20th century, Kenya was a famous hunting destination. Killing any of the big five game one pride, a sense of class, a feeling of heroism. We may even be so lucky to witness a leopard or a cheetah.

Day 11: Mara - Nairobi(Kenya Safari)

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi, to arrive in time for check in at your hotel. Lunch will be on your own account. This afternoon we enjoy a visit to the Giraffe Center where you will get to touch and feed the Endangered Rotchild Giraffe followed by a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum famous for the award winning movie ‘Out of Africa’. Spend time doing last minute shopping. At the Carnivore Restaurant famous for its charcoal grilled barbeque, enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 12: Nairobi - Departure

Breakfast will be served at your hotel, check-­‐‑out (1000Hrs) and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport in time for your onward international flight departing at 1430Hrs.........................................................................................................
